Candidate should be just pass in SSLC / X std. from any recognised Board.
Documents to be produced at the time of Admission
As per Government of Karnataka.
The students should attend a minimum of 75% of the classes in each subject to become eligible for taking the examination. Shortage of attendance up to 15% on valid grounds may be considered by the Secretary, Board of Technical Examination. Under no circumstances the candidate with less than 75% attendance will be allowed to appear for examination. However candidates having less than 60% of attendance may seek admission as repeaters.
The students should wear the prescribed uniform for work shop and lab work. They should not wear loose shirts and trousers while working in the workshops.
The management for the various laboratories prescribes the following uniforms:-
Navy blue aprons and trousers with shoes (blue Jeans are not entertained).
White aprons, Students without the proper prescribed uniforms will not be entertained in any laboratory/workshop.
Permission for admission to the BOARD examination will not be granted unless a) A student has put in at least 75% of attendance at the end of the academic year as per the regulations of BOARD OF TECHNICAL EXAMINATION, Bangalore. b) A student gets at least minimum pass mark for oral/written tests conducted by the college as per Norms.
POLYTECHNIC students will be eligible for promotion to the II & III year only if they fulfill the rules specified by the BOARD OF TECHNICAL EXAMINATION.
A student who is eligible for admission to a higher class should join in time by paying the prescribed Fees. The attendance will be considered from the date of payment of fees.
Students are to abide by all the rules and regulations of the college.
Disciplinary or other action may be initiated against students whose character, conduct, attendance in the class and progress in studies are found unsatisfactory.
