Ravindranath Tagore Nursing School was established in the year 2004 with the sole objective of Providing job oriented education to the rural students and especially to those coming from weaker sections of society. With permission from the Karnataka Nursing Council.
This is encouraged by the good response and enthusiastic support of parents and the public. Now the Ravidranath Tagore Nursing School has a beautiful 5 acres campus at Medahalli, Bangalore. With necessary infrastructure of well furnished class rooms, Auditorium, Labs, Library, Hostels, Play ground and a well-laid garden.
This programme of study leads to the 3 years diploma course offered by Karnataka Nursing course as per Indian Nursing Council corms. The Students one provided with the theoretical and clinical experience wording to the requirements. They are also provided with the advanced clinical experience in all clinical areas to enable the students to take up the first level position in Nursing.
Attainment of optimum health is the desire of every individual. Health of the people is an index of the level of development of the country. The achievement of the country in preventing disease and promoting health depends upon the contribution of all members of health team particularly that of nurses.
During post independence period in India, the Doctor and Patient ratio has been considerably reduced due to opening of large number of Medical Colleges. But the patient-nurse ratio has remained the same even after 50 years of Independence.
Life cannot be saved merely by Medicines and Surgery. Nursing is equally important to save life and to relive sufferings.
Our purpose is to provide trained nursing staff to the human community and provide good job opportunity in India & abroad.
